Signed by Nikola Tesla. Writings and Letters, 1890–1943

In addition to inventing engines and turbines, dreaming of a world of remote-controlled ships and wireless towers, building vast magical laboratories from which lightning bolts and artificial storms emanated, and even designing household appliances, Nikola Tesla wrote extensively. Letters to his family, recounting his successes and plans; letters to his bosses and employers, recounting his projects and dreams; letters to friends, letters to newspapers, letters with complaints, with requests for money… And also many articles on energy, inventions, and science, but also on current affairs or curiosities, because Tesla opined on almost everything and firmly believed that the world was hanging on his words. Delving into the hundreds of writings that have survived (“what would be in the missing ones?”), this anthology of his own handwriting constitutes the most personal and human portrait of a forgotten genius, to whom history is giving a new opportunity in the 21st century.
