Nikola Tesla has gone down in history as the inventor of alternating current, the loser of the “war of the currents” against Edison, the paradigm of the misunderstood genius to whom history does justice centuries later. Today, he enjoys a second youth, gaining interest from younger generations and with many of his visionary theories on wireless communication and the responsible use of energy still relevant today.

This volume collects two of his most important texts, from the many he published during his lifetime in the scientific journals of his time. Thanks to them, we “hear” the first-person voice of a genius, a man who always overcame a life of misunderstanding and failure with the conviction that the future was his.
